Would you rather people went to see it not knowing t.A.T.u. were in it, and for the film do relatively well and be judged fairly... Or for the film to flop because people think "Blah... a film about those lesbians... we won't bother going to see that then"?
Maybe t.A.T.u. is a big selling point in Russia / Surrounding countries. But in the UK / USA I think the film would just be considered a joke if t.A.T.u. was in the title. |

I think that too, in UK and USA are not so famous, and if tatu is found in the title, just the tatu fans are going to see it maybe, i don't know, i think it's better for now with just you and i

Very unfortunately, but true. For instance the band carries a lot of negative stigma with the FAKE L issue among other things. Even in some GLBT communities and organizations still do not appreciate that. They have not forgotten. Maybe someday, hopefully sooner than later, they and all others including media will forgive and give the band or at least their music another chance. Lets wait and see what type of positive reception the movie and albums will get in the North American continent this time. Lets hope it will be a successful crossover, but you never know the entertainment/show business industry is so unpredictable most of the time.

Maybe not on it's own, but take "You and I" and put it on top of a poster with Shantel Van Santen and Mischa Barton on, and it gets a whole lot more interesting |

Besides, in the words of stand-up Marga Gomez, we lesbians (and the rest of the gang) will do ANYTHING to have a scene in a movie involving people from the team, right?

From the point of finishing the movie for the release, there is nothing else to do but to worry about marketing. If the movie will indeed disappoint, who cares? Most of the money that a movie makes comes from the first week. People will watch on that first week, so no matter how bad their opinions will be, they already paid for the tickets and the popcorn, so it's a bad deal for them, and a good deal for the people involved in the movie.
Besides, raise your hands everyone who still went to pay the $7-$10 to go see a movie that everyone said s-u-c-k-e-d. If you didn't, you at least went to the dollar theater, right? Or you bought or rented the DVD, right? If you didn't do any of that, then you're a sick liar who needs to go see the worst horror movies of all time.

I'm not being disrespectful. If I was being disrepectful I would have said something like, "Mischa is talentless bitch!" or some other crap like that. This whole movie just seems... ugh... I mean the book was written by some old guy, and it was about two teenage lesbians? Doesn't that kind of sound like some kind of "Ivan" stunt? It's just a little... iffy to me, that's all. That's probably what's throwing me off this "Find t.A.T.u." train...
And I'm not offended. it might have sounded like it, but I'm not. (though you did sound a little uppity in your response jk jk!)
