From producer Sergey Konov, whom I know. At some point Sergey Viktorovich got interested in MitrofanovТs novel, and thatТs when the first synopsis appeared. And I saw it. The synopsis was very bad, not interesting. However after a long discussion we understood that our idea is not unpromising and that there are all chances to shoot a successful movie if we write a good script. The script was written in Hollywood. We didnТt like it either, and it was completely rewritten by Sergey. Then we sent the script to Hollywood again, and it was redone for the third time. The last version of the script was approved...
